Bring On The Bling – A “Bling” Party At The Park {Party Theme}

I love a good party theme!

No really.  I’m kind of party planning obsessed and I have serious party envy when we go to parties.  Despite that it’s been a little while since I last featured a party here.  Mostly because I fall in and out of love with photography and also because I am too busy running after everyone to stop and take pictures.

Photography is challenging.  Obviously I try and take really good pictures, but get beyond frustrated when I feel like I’m not taking anything worth looking at.  Not to mention when the camera decides to malfunction or the lens just stops working.  Anyway.

This last weekend we went to a Bling Party and I thought it was just the coolest theme!  Meryl arranged soooo many awesome activities for all of the kids, so there was so much that they could do if they didn’t feel like playing on the jungle gyms or eating all the yummy food.  Since getting a new lens I am feeling more in sync with my camera again so I took a few pictures of the day.

Before I share all the party pictures of the kids, I just HAVE to share all the activities – such clever ideas!

So to wrap that all up – you could make bracelets and necklaces, blow bubbles, bedazzle your very own pair of sunglasses, make shapes with glittery playdough, get creative in colouring in and blinging out your name, the boys could make a more neutral dinosaur with stickers, bejewel your own treasure boxes or you could paint your nails!  Pretty freaking awesome!

That’s not to mention the special tree canvas that each child put their own finger print on as a leaf of a tree.  I LOVE this idea.

OK, now for the real party pics.
