It’s no secret that we are HUGE Sticky Fudge fans.  In fact I’m still trying to convince them to move onto making adult sizes.

Maybe I should start a petition.  Just joking.  (Or am I.)

What I know is that they make the most beautiful kids clothing and they should never stop.

Sticky Fudge have always had a very successful online store where you could go and browse through their selection, with handy options to whittle the selection down to the right age and season.  I’ve used it so many times and we have never been disappointed – the clothing is always perfect.  Plus, the time that’s taken from concluding the sale to it being delivered on my doorstep has been faster than any other online store to date.

But.

Call me old fashioned, (I can handle it).  For me, there is nothing quite like actually seeing the clothing first hand, feeling their softness and marveling at the quality.  I can’t help it.  I haven’t been able to bring myself to buy clothing online for myself because I HAVE to feel it and try it on first.

I think that South Africans are only just getting into the online shopping vibe and without prior experience with the product that they are purchasing, it’s sometimes hard to trust that the online process actually works.

Sticky Fudge saw this need and answered it with their very first store!  You can now find them at Tygervalley Centre (Cape Town) where you can go and get the Sticky Fudge experience, feel the products and indulge your senses in the process.  The only thing that will feel empty after a visit is your wallet.  Here’s a few pictures that I took at the launch last week (and you can see our top looks for Spring here).

These are a new line of necklaces and bracelets only available at this store.  I love how dainty they are – they are definitely on my gift list for the girls for Christmas.
