The Christmas tree finally went up on Sunday. Not the “traditional”, singing songs and laughing together as I had imagined. It ended with me putting it up all by myself, sweating in the heat and sneezing in all the dust while Seth was installing a pool and the girls were playing over at my Mom’s. Knox was the only one keeping me company and he just laughed at me each time I sneezed.
But that’s how we roll. I have realised that although I am dying to having all these traditions and things that we do to make Christmas memorable, the only really important thing that we need to focus on is that Jesus was born. At least I can commit to that this year.
A lovely tree !
As the kids get older it will be easier….
Wow! That looks amazing 🙂
Our tree will go up on Saturday.
My older kids are 10 and 8 and we still haven’t managed the movie scene tree decorating session! They are excited to get it out and then loose interest half way or end up fighting over who puts what on 🙂
Your tree looks lovely!
